About Us

L.E.A.R.N. Inc. is a registered non-profit organization. L.E.A.R.N. was founded in 1987 by a group of senior citizens from St. Lazare and area, who wanted to improve their literacy skills. Our area of service covers the communities of Roblin, Russell, Birtle, Binscarth, St. Lazare,  Rossburn and McAuley and their surrounding areas.

Since the organization was founded, instructional classes have been offered in the following sites: Roblin, San Clara, Russell, Inglis, Rossburn, St. Lazare, Binscarth, Birtle and McAuley. The instructional site depends on the geography of the number of learners registered in each area and the availability of space.

Persons over the age of 18 who wish to further their education or upgrade their skills have the potential to enroll into the program.
